Dowel drill bits or wood-boring bits are widely used in the industry of cabinets and kitchens to drill clean dowel holes in softwood, hardwood, MDF, veneered wood, and other composite materials. There is a height-adjusting screw at the end of the straight shank of our dowel drill bits, making Konetool dowel bits suitable for most boring machines such as Morbidelli, Biesse, Torwegge, Koch, Shibaura, Nottmeyer, and Scheer.

The main difference is their tip. A small slice of tungsten carbide is brazed into the tip of the carbide-inserted brad-point dowel drill bit; While the entire drilling tip of the TCT brad-point dowel drill bit is made from tungsten carbide. This distinction results in superior cutting efficiency, longer service life, and higher price of the TCT brad-point dowel drill bit compared to the carbide-inserted dowel bit.
